How to go offline in Facebook chat

How should i go offline to my friend ?

One day i was curious to know about " how to go offline in Facebook chat ". I did some R&D and Found the answer.

Many of the times we don't want chat with some of friends which are in our friend list. But still if they watch us online on Facebook , they will simply ping you and unwillingly you need to chat with them.

But Not now. Facebook have give the solution to this problem. now you can go offline, once you see that the person to whom with you don't want to chat is online.

As usual easy step by step process.

Step - 1

Once you find that the person is online. See the Pic Below.

Click on the online friend , you want to go offline for.

Step - 2

Once you click on the online person. the chat window will open and you will notice a gear like icon, at the right top of the chat window. Prefer following picture. 

Notice the Red encircled Area. And the middle one Gear like icon.( Pix elated For Security reasons )

Step -3 

Clicking over it, a drop down menu will open. There is second option " Go offline to -----" 

Click over it and you will be offline for that person. Have a look at Following pic for reference. 

Once you finished with all the above step. You will be offline for him/her until and unless you set it visible again. (You will no more find him/her online )

If you want make him/her visible at that time only click over and repeat the same process.

But if he/she is offline and you are not sure that weather you have set him/her online or offline. You need to go and  check advance setting.

How to create a group in Facebook

In this post we are not only going to learn about creating the group, but many other things related to Groups.

Facebook Group

A Facebook group is one in which we want the people of same interest,work,college,time to be together. In this group you can share your personal pictures,videos and notes with the Known crowd and can also post the status which you need to show it in common. You can also invite friends to join it. No need to put an extra efforts but just the simple steps. Facebook have improved the look of Groups now.
Many of us may know how to create a group, but might not aware about what we can do in group. So here in this post we are going to revel the things we can do with group.

Here you can Find the group icon on the middle left side. See the Pic below.

You can notice this trey at the Middle left side of page. In the Above Pic you can notice the encircled icon or "create group" Click on it to start with creating a group.

Once you Click on it you will get this box visible. 

1) Group name:- This indicates your group name to Public/ Friends. The group name can be anything. you       can put it in a way you want. but this group must explain about a particular interest.

2) Members :- Obviously the friends that you want to add in your group. This is the crowd that share a common interest among the group.

3) Privacy :- The most important thing Privacy. You can set privacy of the group in 3 ways.

    a) Open :- When you chose this privacy option the group will be totally visible to the member as well as non members.

    b) Closed :- In this Privacy option. The group can be visible to every one, but post by members can visible among them only. 

    c) Secret :- In this Privacy option, only members can see the Group as well as the post by other members.

Once you done with creating a group. here it how looks like.

Now member photos are right at the top of the group - just click on someone to see their timeline. You can find the old group picture in the group's photos.


You can notice the number of members are there in the group. The event that you have set, Docs that have been written by you or any of the members of Group.

Regarding Notification :-

Notification is all about the who have post in group, who have added new pics and also the docs. An administrate can set the notification to on or off. If the Notification mode is on, you will get notified for each and every activity that happens in group. If it is off then you will not get any notification.  You can Notice this option at the right hand side corner. See the Following Pic for better understanding.

In the above pic you can see the Gear like icon. Once you click on this icon a drop down menu will open which show you 4 content the First one is "chat with group" Second one is "Create event" Third one is "Report Group" and the last one is "Leave Group"

You can add photo's,Videos, Docs, inspiring the same interest among the group. Even can set event, Like common bunk,Get together etc.
On the Right hand side just below the notification tab there is group info. This info you can edit at any point of time. This Info should say something about the Group and the interest that you are sharing in Common with the other members of the Group.

How to delete Facebook Account

Many of the time we get trouble with our Facebook account. And we finally decide to Deactivate the Account .

once Log in Facebook : Go to the "Account Setting"

Click on Account and you will get Redirected to setting page :

On the left hand side, Notice below menu.

In the Above Pic the option which have already selected is General.

Select the "Security" Option Just Below the general one.

On Clicking it you will enter into Security menu. Follow the Following Image.

In the Above Pic it is Shown that where you can find the Deactivate your account option.

Click on it and you will get your account Delete.

Time line and Features

Last year Facebook have introduced timeline, a new kind of profile that lets you highlight the photos, posts and life events that help you tell your story. Over the next few weeks, everyone will get timeline. When you get timeline, you'll have 7 days to preview what's there now. This gives you a chance to add or hide whatever you want before anyone else sees it. 

This is how a timeline look like once u get it. It is easy now to get a time line for your profile. Many of us may know how to get time line. But still many of the things are there which we still need to understand. 

Now here we are going to make it more visible. Timeline will let you set two pics on your profile. One is your pic which you can set at left corner and another is a your cover photo. Cover photo can be anything. It can be your own big picture or you can find many cover photo, once you search Google for it. Beside Giving your profile a good look, Timeline also keep notice on the events that you have share with your friends and arrange according to the time period. Its like showing you an evolution of yours. You can Notice Update Info Tab just below your cover image. Clicking on Update info you will get redirected to Your profile page where you can update/change/edit your profile information. In order to update/change the Information on your profile, you have to click on edit tab visible just before the field that you want to edit. Once the Information edited, all you need to do is click on done editing. You can Edit contact Info, Education and work Info, pages.

In the Above Snap you can Notice the grid circle. which Actually Denotes setting in many of the mobile device. On clicking this small gear like icon, you can see "view as " and "add badge to your site". On clicking  

View as you can see a rectangular area where it is already written "Enter a friends name " Where you can put your friends name and see how your profile looks to him/her. The Another option is of "Badge" . Badge is a small icon that you can add to your Profile picture. This Badge can be anything. Look at the Pic Below.

In the Above Picture "beadonor.ca" is the Badge added to the profile picture. There are so many other badges like this. We can continue with the Badge in our another post.

Add anything that's missing

Click anywhere on your timeline to add updates, photos and stories about the places you visit. Or click Life Event to add experiences from the different parts of your life.

Facebook Friends Visibility issue

Many of us are Frustrated that how to get our friends list hide., Yes there are many reasons that we dont want our friends list to be visible to everyone. In this post we are going to learn how to hide your friends list. 

Now a days one more app is going crazy among the youths. Facebook timeline, this app make it a little critical but no worries we will make that easy here. Facebook without time line process :- Go to the profile ,: on the left hand side find a tab of friends and in the bracket there is number of friends that u have.when pointed out the cursor, just an inch right to it , there is a pencil icon.Click on the pencil icon, this redirect you to friends and Family menu. where you find 2 major tab a) friends b) Subscription Just right to these tab there is a circle icon, clicking on which show u a drop down menu of 5-6 Content.public ,friends,only me, custom. u can select either of them accordingly your friends list will be available to that many crowd.In the custom click :- you can manually select your friends to whom your friend list will be visible. Once you done with Save the changes. Facebook with Timeline:- A very first step is same as like an old look of Facebook. just go to Profile.Click on Friends, this drives you to friends list.at upper right corner, you will find Edit option, click on that , drop down to this a menu will open.Click on circle icon and again the same thing like we have Describe above. Facebook Security part 2

In our last part of Facebook Security we have discuss about the post visibility. In this part we are going to explore some more things. Again once log in to Facebook, you can manage the privacy setting. How you connect in this option you can customize, who can see your mail id and contact number, who can send you friend request and who can send you the massage. on the right hand site you can see the tab , that usually indicate Everyone just click on that and all you can do is customized it. you will find 3 options over there, Everyone,Friends of Friend, Friends.
Now a days time line profile is popular one. You can find time line and tagging tab Under the Previous one.
Here you can manage who can tag you, also review the content before you confirm the tag and you can also set on who can post on you timeline.
You can also decide upon the apps, games and website setting. on clicking you can redirect to apps section of Privacy setting. Here you can manage the apps that you really want to accept and Reject.
You can also turn all your apps at one click, or to be more selective you can also click on one by one and get rid of it.
